Cristopher C. Wilson, licensed Mississippi Real Estate Broker, Biography
Cristopher C. Wilson is a licensed Mississippi Real Estate Broker. In that professional capacity, he represents both buyers and sellers in real estate transactions. Cris also provides farmland management services. He serves as president of MS Delta Corporate, Ducks, Deer, and Farmland, a company in which he is an owner. MS Delta Corporate maintains four informational web sites, operates season hunt programs, and provides finance and support services to Cris in his professional practice. All licensable real estate activity is conducted by Cris in his name and through the exercise of his professional judgement.
During his childhood, Cris lived in California and New Orleans before his family settled in Mobile, AL for his junior high and high school years. He was an outstanding high school athlete at the positions of quarterback in football and catcher in baseball. Cris began his college experience in 2003 at the University of South Alabama. After rehabilitating a shoulder injury, Cris transferred in 2004 to Mississippi Valley State University in the Mississippi Delta on an athletic scholarship. He was to play the position of catcher but reinjured his shoulder during preseason practice. After a second surgery and rehabilitation, Cris hung up his cleats. He remained at MVSU where he served as president of the Campus Diversity Program and also led the Baptist Student Union. In 2008, Cris was awarded a BA degree with an emphasis in Communications and Real Estate. Bobby Fisher Jr. developed and Taught the real estate curriculum and established and directed the Campus Diversity Program at MVSU.
In the summer of 2006, Cris passed the Mississippi Real Estate Broker's Exam and began working with Bobby Fisher Sr. in his real estate investment business. Bobby Fisher Inc was his representative business. After a sudden death of Bobby Fisher Sr. in 2008, Cris and the Fisher Family formed a new corporate entity, Bobby Fisher Mississippi Farmland Investments, Inc in January 2009, with Cris owning 50% interest as well as assuming his role as a director and corporate president. Nathan Peden became a stockholder with Cris and the Fisher family in the spring of 2012. Cris continues to lead the company in its real estate support role and to actively engage in the real estate industry in his capacity as a licensed real estate professional.
Cris is married to the former Mary Kathryn Fondren of the Greenwood area who has just begun her Optometry practice together with Dr. Todd Hall. Very active in the community, Cris serves as co - chairman of the Chamber of Commerce Roy Martin Delta Band Festival. He took over this role from Bobby Fisher Jr. who served in that capacity for twenty-one consecutive years Nathan also serves on the committee with Cris. Mary Kathryn and Cris are also members of North Greenwood Babtist Church where Cris served as a student minister intern during his college years.
